Meet Dr. Duong

I am a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Medical School in Madison, Wisconsin; where I also obtained a degree in Medical Microbiology and Immunology. I did post-graduate medical studies and training in Internal Medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Beth Israel Medical Center Campus in New York, New York.

I am certified as a Diplomat by the American Board of Internal Medicine. This certification means that I am qualified, after extensive training and testing, to specialize in Internal Medicine, taking care of adult men and women. In my free time, I enjoy reading mystery books and watching horror movies. (Stephen King's books, I think, are far better than his movies. "Misery" is an exception.) Camping, fishing, and traveling are among my favorite outdoor activities. I love writing and have written a few short essays, both fiction and non-fiction. For me, the best part of being a doctor is meeting people and listening to their stories. I strongly believe that though advanced medical technology and pharmaceuticals have greatly helped many of us live healthier and longer, superior medical care is not possible without interpersonal interaction, genuine concern, and true compassion.
